Painted Bathroom Subway Art - How to

It's Tuesday.  And I've been a go getter today.  It's 8 in the morning.  I've already started laundry (and folded some), unloaded the dishwasher, got the kitchen cleaned up, cleaned the living room and vacuumed the house.  Oh and of course got Joshua breakfast and off to school.  Question:  Why is it when we are outside in the cold the bus is late.  But when we are not outside it comes early?  Just asking.

I started with one of my garage sale canvases.  $1.

Picked out my paint colors.  I was lucky and already had the colors.  Which is odd because I don't have much paint.  I had the colors above plus maybe 3 other colors.  But it worked out.

Paint canvas.  Let dry.

Paint the edges too!  That day was painting day.  Can't you tell?

I cut out my words on paper out of my recycling bin first.  That way I could change sizes if necessary - move words and so on.  Make sure to keep a list of each word or phrase and how large you made it!

Then I cut the words into vinyl and stuck it to the canvas.

Dab the paint on.  Let it dry.

Peel off the vinyl.  {I should have put an extra coat of light green.  And waited another few minutes before pulling off the 'flush'.  Oh and made my last S in 'floss' the right way. Oh well.} :)

Set it up.  Hang yourself or add it to your honey do list. :)

It looks pretty good in there!

P.S. It is hung up now!!! :)
